Chance to Shine Casual Coach
Chance to Shine is a national charity on a mission to spread the power of cricket throughout schools and communities. We take cricket to new places and use it to ignite new passions, teach vital skills, unite diverse groups, and educate young people.
Oxfordshire Cricket are looking for more coaches to help us deliver cricket in primary schools across the county. This year we will be delivering in 90 schools in Oxfordshire, and need enthusiastic and passionate Level 2 coaches to help us ‘win the battle of the playground’ by making cricket the sport of choice.
Essential
ECB Level 2 coaching qualification (or overseas equivalent)
Up to date DBS, First Aid, and Safeguarding checks
Effective communicator
Excellent leadership skills
High energy and enthusiasm
Desirable
Full UK driving licence
Own vehicle
Experience of working in a school setting
Roles and responsibilities
Plan, deliver and review high quality cricket / multi skills / core movement coaching sessions that are young person focused (KS1 and KS2)
Understanding of the Chance to Shine programme – including entering data on the chance to sine portal portal (training provided)
Understanding of partnership working and able to create strong and sustainable links with contacts throughout the area
Recognise the importance of building links between school and club settings
Actively promote out of school opportunities for children such as All Stars Cricket Dynamos Cricket.
Providing excellent customer satisfaction with high standards of delivery
Salary
£20p/h – inclusive of travel expenses
Hours of working between 9AM-3.00pm Monday-Friday.
