National Programme updates below. As always, any questions please get in contact.
Registration
A reminder you can now register your All Stars/Dynamos Cricket centre. You can do this via ClubSpark, where you can input your dates and times of your sessions. If you are having problems accessing your account, please let me know. Key dates are below.
- Wednesday 15th February – Participants who have registered interest via the All Stars/Dynamos website, or a previous participant will have the opportunity to sign up in the priority window.
- Wednesday 1st March – All participants can sign up, with sessions going live.
- Friday 5th May is the official launch date for All Stars and Dynamos Cricket.
Activator Training
New activators – Training will be provided free of charge for all activators. The Activator will then have a checklist of items to complete in order to be qualified.
In addition to an up-to-date and valid DBS, these elements are: eLearning, a virtual induction session delivered online, a face-to-face training session and the online Safeguarding Young Cricketers qualification.
I will release the dates of the sessions within the next couple of weeks and how to sign up, but all sessions are in April.
Existing activators – There is no returning Activator specific element to the training this year. Returning Activators should be up to date on the National Programmes eLearning and also Safeguarding Young Cricketers. There is a 3-year accreditation on this meaning if you completed this element more than 3 years ago you will need to redo this.
The dates for the activator training courses are below. Your activators can sign up to the courses via their ClubSpark page. (Activators are to attend a virtual and face to face)
Virtual – Wednesday 12th April, 18:30 – 19:30
Virtual – Tuesday 18th April, 18:30 – 19:30
Face to Face – Saturday 15th April, 10am – 11.30am – Heyford Park School, Bicester
Face to Face – Tuesday 26th April – 18:00 – 19:30 – Didcot Girls School

Dynamos Cricket Festivals
Last summer a few centres kindly hosted a Dynamos Cricket festival after their 8 week programme had taken place. The festival took place over a morning, and the game of countdown cricket was played against other centres. This gives the opportunity for participants to play and have fun against other teams. If you are interested in hosting a festival this year, please let me know and I am happy to discuss further.
