Oxford CC are crowned U13 Gauntlet Goblet Champions

Saturday saw Oxford CC U13s Pairs team beat Sunningwell CC in the Gauntlet Goblet Final by 40 runs.

Sunningwell won the toss and elected to field.

Oxford scored a net total of 307 (132 for 5) off their 16 overs with Sunningwell then reaching a net total of 267 (122 for 11) from their overs.

Oxford’s team has been predominantly U13 girls for the whole competition, supplemented with U11 boys highlighting the strength in depth of girl’s cricket at OCC.

Chris Parkinson from Oxfordshire Cricket presented the trophy to Oxford CC, thanking players, coaches and officials.
