These courses are aimed at those looking to start out on an umpiring career, those who may have to fill in as umpires for their clubs during the season and those who are established umpires but looking for a refresher and update to their knowledge and move forward in umpiring.
There was a major revision of the Laws in 2017 and again in 2019 so if you have not been on a course recently this may be for you.
They are a requirement under Cherwell Cricket League regulations for those looking
to stand regularly for their club as either a panel or club umpire.
The courses do not teach all the Laws but do cover umpiring techniques in fieldcraft and match management to help you through those awkward situations
If you are interested but unsure about booking, please contact [email protected]
to ask any questions you may have about the courses.
