This week has seen plenty of action in both the Bernard Tollett and Wilf Bennett Quarter Finals.
A summary of the results are below together with the updated Semi-Final draws:
Bernard Tollett Quarter Finals:
QF1 – Banbury CC beat Cumnor CC by 6 wickets
Cumnor batted first scoring 127-8 off their 20 overs with William Bull 70no. Charlie Haselgrove picking up 3 for 30 off his overs.
Banbury reached their target in the 18th over with the loss of 4 wickets; Charlie Hill 44no and Justin Lambden 30no. P Kinighley taking 2 for 21 off his 4 overs.
QF2 – Horspath CC beat Shipton Under Wychwood CC by 27 runs
Horspath scored 163 for 7 off their 20 overs with Shipton falling short in their reply on 136 for 5.
S Hussain scored 52 and taking 2 for 22.
QF3 – Oxford Downs CC beat Tiddington CC by 9 wickets
Tiddington batted first scoring 88 for 9 off their 20 overs with Lawrence Brock taking 3 for 16.
Downs reached their target for the loss of 1 wicket in the 12th over with Tom Cosford 55no.
QF4 – Aston Rowant CC v Challow & Childrey CC to be played on 20 July.
Bernard Tollett Semi-Finals:
SF 1 – Banbury CC v Oxford Downs CC
SF 2 – Horspath CC v Aston Rowant CC or Challow & Childrey CC
Games to be played week commencing 26 July, or reserve week commencing 2 August.
Winners of each proceed to the Bernard Tollett Final at Wormsley Cricket Ground on 18 September.
Wilf Bennett Quarter Finals:
QF1 – Brackley CC v Oxford CC to be played on 20 July.
QF2 – Oxenford CC beat Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts CC by 5 wickets
In a high scoring game Nondies scored 172 for 3 off their 20 overs with B Iohlaq 56no and Shabaaz Alam 44. Stephen Wright the pick of the bowlers taking 2 for 33.
In reply Oxenford reached their target off the final ball with Div Puri 52 and Roshan Gedara 46no. C Walia taking 2 for 37.
QF3 – Langford CC v Thame Town CC to be played on 20 July.
QF4 – Henley CC beat Witney Swifts CC by 6 runs
In a very close encounter Henley batted first and scored 107 for 7 off their 20 overs.
In reply Swifts were just short scoring 101 for 8.
Wilf Bennett Semi-Finals:
SF 1 – Brackley CC or Oxford CC v Langford CC or Thame Town CC
SF 2 – Oxenford CC v Henley CC
Games to be played week commencing 26 July, or reserve week commencing 2 August.
