The Oxfordshire Women’s indoor league came to a conclusion at the weekend. This year we had 3 divisions. Division 1 was finalised before Christmas with Moreton once again winning the competition. Division 2 saw Horspath and Banbury finish level on points but Horspath had a far superior run rate. In Division 3 the points were also tied between West Oxford Warriors and Hendred, with West Oxford finishing winners on run rate, although it was closer than Division 2.

 

This year we had 11 teams competing, up from 9 last year. We want to thank all the teams for taking part and its good to see three competitive divisions. We will be taking enquiries for the competition next winter later this year, where we will be looking to grow it further.

 

Well done to Moreton, Horspath and West Oxford Warriors on their Division titles.
