Aston Rowant U15s who won the County Finals Day a couple of weeks ago travelled to Ealing CC on Sunday for the first-round tie in the National Vitality U15 Club T20.
Ealing CC won the toss and elected to bat scoring 143 for 8 off their 20 overs with Ealing’s captain Absar Muhammad scoring 50ret with an impressive Strike Rate (SR) of 143 ably supported by Zuhayr Khan scoring 36 at SR of 92 in an opening partnership of 84. In response, a good opening stand of 63 with Conor Rogan scoring 41 at SR of 93; a subsequent quickfire 17 by captain Jack Veal at SR of 243, however, with some impressive bowling from Ealing it was always going to be a challenge to reach the target.
