On Sunday, Hook Norton CC represented the county in the ECB National Indoor Championship Regional Finals at Uppingham School, Leicestershire.

 

Hook Norton faced Hagley CC, the winners from Worcestershire in their Semi-Final.  

 

Hook Norton batted first and scored 92 for 5 in their 12 overs with Laurence Grimes 25no; Dan White 19 and Max Harris 17 and James Elston taking 2 for 26 for Hagley.

 

In reply, Hagley CC reached their target for the loss of 3 wickets off 10.4 overs / 8 balls to spare.  Michael Stead 29no and Alex Millard 27ret for Hagley and Max Harris the pick of Hooky’s bowlers with 1 for 14 off 3 overs.

 

With Hagley’s 3 wicket win they went on to play in the Regional Final with a position in the National Finals at Lords at stake.
