Thank you for the Youth Competition feedback during the winter.
All feedback has now been considered and we have looked to introduce as much as possible to both this summer’s competition offering and an updated Youth Handbook, which will follow in due course.
The competitions for this season are:
U9 Festivals
– Sunday Festivals aligned to Dynamos – dates & venues TBC based on entries
U11 League
– Played on Sundays (May-July)
– 11 a side hardball retaining inclusivity rules from previous seasons 16 over matches
– Geographical pools to minimise travelling with No Finals Day
U11 Hardball Super 8’s
– Played on Sundays (May-July)
– 8 a side hardball Pairs 16 over matches
– Geographical pools to minimise travelling with No Finals Day
U11 Softball Super 8’s
– Played on Sundays (May-July)
– 8 a side softball Pairs 16 over matches
– Geographical pools to minimise travelling with No Finals Day
U11 Hundred Competition
– Played during the Summer after other U11 competitions
– Format TBC based on number of entries
U13 League
– Played on Thursday evenings (end April-July)
– 11 a side hardball retaining inclusivity rules from previous seasons 20 over matches
– Geographical pools to minimise travelling with Finals Day Sunday 17 July (TBC)
U13 Ron Maudsley Cup
– Played on Thursday evenings or Sunday mornings (end April-June)
– 11 a side hardball 20 over matches
– Open draw knock-out competition with Finals Day Sunday 26 June (TBC)
– Winners to represent the county in the ECB National Rounds
U13 Gauntlet Goblet Super 8’s
– Played on Thursday evenings (May-July)
– 8 a side hardball Pairs 16 over matches
– Geographical pools to minimise travelling with Semi-Finals / Finals at Home Grounds
U13 Longer Format Oxford Cricket League
– To be played on Sundays during July & August
– 11 a side hardball 35 over matches
– Geographical pools to minimise travelling with Finals Day TBC
U13 Hundred Competition
– Played during the Summer after U13 League concludes
– Format TBC based on number of entries
U15 League
– Played on Monday evenings (end April-July)
– 11 a side hardball 20 over matches
– Geographical pools to minimise travelling with Finals Day Sunday 3 July (TBC)
– Winners to represent the county in the ECB National Rounds
U15 Super 8’s Development League
– Played on Monday evenings (May-July)
– 8 a side hardball Pairs 16 over matches
– Geographical pools to minimise travelling with Semi-Finals / Finals at Home Grounds
U15 Longer Format Oxford Cricket League
– To be played on Sundays during July & August
– 11 a side hardball 40 over matches
– Geographical pools to minimise travelling with Finals Day TBC
U15 Hundred Competition
– Played during the Summer after U15 League concludes
– Format TBC based on number of entries
U19 League
– Played on Monday evenings (end June-August)
– 11 a side hardball 20 over matches
– Geographical pools to minimise travelling with Finals Day Sunday 11 September (TBC)
All Youth Managers will receive an email with full details of the competition offering on Friday 28 January.

The closing date for entries is Friday 18th February with a view to start issuing fixtures week commencing 21st February and all fixtures being shared by Sunday 6 March.
Just to confirm that any clubs who have not yet affiliated with Oxfordshire Cricket will need to do so to take part in the competitions and will also need to meet the latest Safe Hands guidance – please follow the links below for affiliation:
